Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it is used.
1. What we collect. When you use the intake chat, we collect the details you provide: your name, email, phone number (optional), the jurisdiction, a description of your matter, the opposing party (optional), your desired outcome and urgency, and the conversation transcript. When you pay, our payment processor (Razorpay) processes your payment details; we do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
2. Why we collect it. Solely to (a) prepare the legal service you purchase, (b) contact you about your matter, (c) process payment, and (d) meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
3. Automated processing. The intake chat uses secure automated systems to collect and structure your matter details before the lawyer's review. It does not give legal advice.
4. Storage. Intake and engagement records are stored on secured infrastructure (Supabase) with access restricted to the practice.
5. Sharing. We do not sell your data. It is shared only with service providers needed to run the website (hosting, database, intake processing, payment processing, email), and where required by law.
6. Retention. Engagement records are retained as required for professional and legal record-keeping. If you submitted an intake but did not engage, you may ask us to delete it.
7. Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information (subject to records we must keep by law) by writing to contact@theaccuratelawyer.com.
